@Stevebills ... are you saying that is when the problems start on uk PayPal accounts the moment you start withdrawals to banks even if it is small amounts?

i sent some money from a stealth paypal to my bank account and got limited now thats strange
I do like you James but you write short notes that confuse people instead of helping people on here?

Withdrawing to a bank account isn't what will have caused your PayPal to get limited

Being able to withdraw from a PayPal to a bank account is a fundamental part of stealth working so well

It's fine to withdraw from a PayPal to a bank account

I'll just quote this to repeat what's been said and give it a bit more emphasis.

@OP Ive been using stealth accounts for 5 years, withdrawing to banks without issues. Yet you've been here longer than I have, so what have you been doing with your money? (hopefully you don't say leave it in PayPal)

The only issues with banks and stealth paypals are as follows:

1. If your using LLloyds, TSB, and Halifax - these bank are known to have issues with mismatched name and withdrawals. So avoid them. They wont result in a limited PayPal, they'd result in the bank closing the accounts.

2. If your funding purchases using the bank attached to PayPal, then PayPal will know the name on the bank doesn't match that on PayPal, and this could cause limitation.

Other than those 2 issues mentioned, nothing else should cause issues.

If withdrawing to a bank compromised stealth paypal accounts, then I think we'd all be scratching our heads.

Re: taking money out of a stealth

Initiating a withdrawal on Paypal can trigger a limitation. A situation where you've taken a lot of money fairly quickly and then added a bank and tried to withdraw the whole lot in one go would be one situation where a limitation could arise.

The idea is to operate as "low key" as possible. Activities that make you look desperate to get the money out as quickly as possible will increase your chance of being limited.

Add the bank and leave it for a few days and then start to withdraw it slowly.

There's loads of threads on here where members have shared how much and how frequently to withdraw.

Withdrawing to a bank account is still the safest way to withdraw from a UK Paypal account.

I've used all these 3 banks for the past 4 years without any problems...

It can be an issue, but not always. Also mainly affects personal accounts. I've seen these banks give leeway with business accounts.

Re: taking money out of a stealth

Any bank has the potential to cause issues with mismatching names but in reality most are fine with it. Very often it is down to each individual and their relationship with the bank.

We only advise people to avoid Lloyds etc due to the number of people that report issues on the forum.

Stay away from uaccount, as you will be back here in a few months looking for advice/ help. Just read the reviews about uaccount on trustpilot etc.

If you’re looking for a UK bank I would consider Tesco bank over uaccount.
Essentially they work in the same way, you can apply online without ever going to a Tesco branch. You get given a main bank account with a debit card and you can open additional saving accounts online. Mismatched deposits aren’t an issue, it’s free to use and in general I think they’re just a bit more trustworthy?
