Cross border selling
 

Im based in Peru at the moment and want to offer Peruvian items for sale on Ebay.

However, there is no Paypal send / receive function in Peru:

Is it ok to, for example open a paypal account in the UK, verify it, and then connect that to an ebay account in Peru, for example? Is that regarded as, "risky" and therefore, are they likely to shut it down?

I can open the ebay account in the UK, and say the items are located there, but it makes it simpler for shipping etc, to be listed where i actually am! Also, buyers may complain, since they thought the item was local, when it wasnt.. (?)

I have a UK address, UK current accounts etc... thats not the problem. My question was whether being in one country and using a paypal account from another was a good or bad idea. Does anyone have any experience with cross border selling (wth verified paypal accounts?)
