I've got a current account with HSBC and Natwest - How to open another account?
 

Is there a way to open another additional account in the same bank but on the same online banking? (Sorry if that sounds confusing)

I see some threads state they open a new account in 10 minutes online and is there any repercussions for opening another account in the same bank?

Log into HSBC

Open a savings account with instant access.

Should take 5 mins at the moment

I haven't had anything happened to me after opening multiple Instant Access Savers with any of the High St Banks.

For HSBC:

1. Log in to your internet banking using the full website and your Secure key
2. When you're logged in scroll over 'Everyday banking' and select 'View all' from the Savings list
3. Pick your desired savings account and select where you pay tax and etc
4. You're done and your account is open instantly.

Natwest : you can open it from the App but I can't give an in depth guide as I no longer bank with them.

Thanks for all the help guys! Another question, I just noticed I have a " Flex Saver " account aswell on HSBC online banking, it shows the same Sort Code as the Current Account but different account number, would this work?

Yes, that should still be fine.

Natwest you can open 2 additional "Online" accounts from the first account quite easy to do even come with own cards etc
