is this no longer possible on ebay? i take my own pro photos and dont want them nicked, can i watermark them with my logo?

i know ebay have a watermark system but its away from the image itself and is easily removable using photoshop.

I use watermark.ws I prefer that because you can watermark all your photos at once, you can add custom fonts and colours aswell

but if you have your own logo, is that still possible?

i see many listing on ebay with texts such as "free delivery" "uk stock"

i just wonder how are they still up, when this isnt allowed.

Hasn't been allowed for over ten years, but its rarely enforced.

I have ALL the logos and graphics, my listings look all fandango :)

Stealth accounts also arent allowed, but they happen don't they :)

Every watermark is removable using PS. Why don't you watermark your pictures with photoshop in the first place and then upload them?

watermarks are ok with ebay as long as you don't add your web address to them.

I'm probably novice with this (or old school) but I mark my photos with my own ebay username using Paint...

Not true. Every watermark is NOT removable.

As the chap above mentioned, use www.watermark.ws which i've been using for a few years now.

Use the tile option, it puts a semi transparent text/logo all across the image.

It just won't be feasible to remove it from the entire image as its literally engraved.

Play around with the tool. You won't regret it. Ever since I began using it, competitors haven't taken my images.

It's very faint text. Not very noticeable. But noticeable enough to deter anyone from wanting to use it.

Violation of eBay rules? Bottom line - never had an issue.
