Updating Vcc and phone
 

I want to update the phone and VCC on an established stealth account. Since I do not have the full details of VCC nor them phone number.

I did this before on an account that had a problem when I was told to verify those details, but this time, I have no issue with this account. Panick could set it when asked to verify them again in future, so, I am just wondering maybe I should just let the sleeping dog lie.

Should I update them or let them be?

Not at all. I suppose the VCC expires in 2018 or 19 but the concern is they may ask to verify yourself at some point when attempting to withdraw. Been using the account almost 2-3yrs no issue at all. I just don't want to wait until issue comes before I begin to think of updating them.

If you don't know what the card number was and have no access to the phone number either then I would get both done fairly sharpish.

Update the phone number first

Wait 2 weeks and then update the VCC

This brings up a question that I was wondering about myself...

If you add a new phone number on a stealth acc then delete the old number will PayPal confirm with the old phone number, even if the notification settings are set to email only?

I wouldn't like to add a new phone number then find PP sent a text to the old number to confirm.

You only have issues updating the phone number if they already want to verify the 'old' number on the account. At this point you can't add a new number as they will still try and verify the old number


If you can login with no issues and change the phone number they don't ask to verify the old one.
