Using a second account to boost sales.

I'm positive this will be frowned upon here but I need to reach 400 sales by the end of this month to ensure my October seller evaluation is based on the previous three months rather than the previous year. I have access to another ebay account which has no links to my primary selling account. What wisdom is there out there on using the second account to purchase a few items (possibly as many as 90) from my seller account to make sure I reach the 400 target at the end of the month.

Am I shooting myself in the foot here? Can it be done? Are there certain things I should do to make sure I don't get caught? Like use another computer, or whatever?

Any advice would be greatly received, and be kind, I'm not keen on breaking the rules unless I reeeeeally have to!

Cheers

It depends on if you need each sale to count an individual sale or if a bulk sale is fine

typically a single buyer counts as one transaction every 7 days. Maybe in this case it is different.

I would need each sale to count as an individual sale. Will that not work if I use the same account to make multiple individual purchases?

Sorry but this plan just has "fail" all over it.

It definitely won't work like you intend.

Just list tonnes of cheap items at cost price to hit the numbers you need. Even selling at a loss is worth it short term to save a good account

Any sort of manipulation like the one you have in mind will eventually be detected by ebay's bots and will end poorly.

Cheap items with free shipping will sell - one way or another.

What you are proposing OP takes immense mastery of stealth and not just one buyer account - and evident manipulation can be detected very easily - not worth the risk.

Re: Using a second account to boost sales.

My only thought is that you sell a number of items very cheap - perhaps priced so you won't make a profit or a loss.
It'll be work for no profit but only you can decide if that's worth doing. I guess it's less than ten sales a day to make your 90 target.
I did similar to improve my feedback.
