Paypal/Entropay No Go?
 

This is my first post on the forum.
i would like to thank you all the time and effort you put into this awesome forum.

My question relates to entropay.
i just set up a new pay pal/ebay/new address/bank/ect
i added entropay, got the code and took deposit ect.
but i keep reading horror stories on here about entropay being a no no since adding it.
Should i buy a new card and add that before moving forward?:juggle:

any advise from you veterans would be greatly appreciated.

I would recommend you ditch the account and start from scratch.

Avoid entropay. What ends up happening is in a few weeks, or when you take your first payment the account will become limited.

I wouldn't use anything same. That account is now on its way to being limited, so anything that has similar information i.e. name, address, date of birth etc. might all go down with it when it does.

Best to play it safe.

Have you added your bank account yet?

If you have, I would just remove the entropay card and use the account

Is entropay causing linkages now? What good VCC to use for the UK?

Hi just_smile, Yeah bank account was added first. i am thinking of giving that a go. Nothing to lose i guess.

I'd agree with this.

Just don't go crazy with the account early doors and see how it goes. Might be worth selling a few £1 or £2 items to start with and see if that triggers a limitation. My feeling is that it will be fine as many of these Entropay issues happened when there was no bank attached and there was only the VCC.

Buy eny Visa GiftCards in shops like Asda,Tesco i use vanilla cards and gospendit.

Wonderful forum here, I am glad I happened upon it..its my first post here..where can one get these visa/mastercard gift cards? I checked tescos, whsmit etc cant seem to find anything like that. I could only find the regular giftcards. Are they still being sold? When I asked at tescos, they didnt seem to know what I was talking about, is there another name for them? can the Vanilla card still be used with paypal smelling a rat? sorry for so many questions, I am a newbee here and all answers would be most appreciated.

fantastic forum, glad I came across it. i am new here, so apologies in advance if this message appears twice. with regards to the visa/master card, I cant seem to find them anywhere, couldn't find them in tescos/whsmiths, I even asked shop a lady at the counter, she didnt seem to know what I was on about. would love to get hold of them, do they go by a separate name? all I could find are the regular gift cards. thanks in advance for your response. also, are vanilla cards still ok? wont paypal smell a rat with them?

You need to go to the larger stores. A smaller store like a Tesco Express probably won't stock them. You find them usually on the end of aisles facing the checkouts along with loads of other giftcards etc.

Our Tesco Extra does the gospendit ones which work fine. Morrisons sell visa and mastercard gift cards as does Wilkos.

hi, i need a VCC for my paypal. i'm from UK. can i purchase the vanilla/Gospendit giftcards online or do i have to go to tesco to get it ?

I have problem with vanilla cards. vanilla told me that that when paypal ul did the test spend vanilla tried to pay them in USA $ or EUros and they didnt try GB pounds.
Or am i messing smth up

Are you using USA card or UK?
