crazy morning with paypal
 

hi
Had an account limited last week, asking for docs,
I was deciding to try to lift the limitation or just let the account go and wait out the 180 for the money (6k) , so had not uploaded the id docs just tracking number info and supplier info

but the strangest thing happened this morning when I login in and the limitation was no longer showing, so tried to empty the money in the account, and guess what it did, the money is known in my bank account, has this happened to any before ??????


no emails from PayPal or calls !!!!!

PayPal might have asked for docs because you are approaching the receiving limits.

The account is in good health and you can still do whatever you want (like withdrawing). The only limitation you have is that you cannot close the account. You have to provide ID in due time or your account will run into issues.

This happened to me on an IT account I guess it is the same for other countries.

also, the was limited only could receive payments and do refunds

OP did mention other docs were requested so don’t think this is for the recieving limit. Seems like a limitation with a glitch...

sorry, you are right, also 6k in it is far beyond receiving limits, just noticed.

There's been a few things happen on the UK site this morning relating to receiving limits / being able to upload documents. I have a feeling that your limitation mysteriously disappearing is related in some way to these other changes.

Don't be surprised if that limitation re-appears in a day or two. Tread very carefully with it for a few weeks at least. Transfer the money out of the bank account so that Paypal cannot try and pull it back.

stopped using the account , know , but did not know that paypal can take funds back , has this happened to any one before ?

It's happened recently to a US member. It's unlikely to happen but if the amount in question is a lot then it would be best not to leave it to chance.

Transfer to bank account has been Completed then nothing to worry, if vice versa then everything could happen

No payments can be taken once cleared, unless the balance goes into pending mode upon requesting withdrawal until it actually clears into your bank account...
