Adding funds to stealth account
 

Hi everyone, I have a supplier who will only accept Paypal (Thinks they'll protect him if something goes wrong). As I'm new to stealth I have no available balance in my Paypal account. I've tried to use a linked Entropay card but Paypal won't accept any of them I've tried to create. It adds them and lets me verify the account but even with 200 on the Entropay card I can't add a penny.

So my question is, How do I go about adding funds? I need just short of 200 to send to him. My personal Paypal is limited so I can't use that and I'd rather not involve any family or friends that could link them if I get limited.

You don't need to add funds to the Paypal at all. Add a card with sufficient funds and use that as the funding source when you checkout.

Hi, thank you for your reply. Would it be possible to add my card as its a stealth account? Won't Paypal notice the mistmatching name?

You can't use your own debit card as the address won't match - its nothing to do with names.

Is it not letting you pay using the Entropay card as the funding source?

Ahh I see. Well I first tried sending it through friends and family with a confirmed Entropay card. I have around 200 in there and the products are 180. It just says an error occurred before I can select how much to send.
I've also tried making payments through ebay with Paypal and a linked Entropay card but it says order confirmed but then it cancels itself and says the payment wasn't successful. Even with guest checkout the exact same happens.

Is entropay now a dud or should I keep making new cards and try again?

Entropay isn't the best of choices.

If you have a real debit or credit card that hasn't been used on Paypal before, then create a new account using that instead. So long as you pick an address with the same house number as your real address, the card will add. ;)

Eg

Real address: 14 High Street, London
Stealth address: 14 Old Street, Birmingham

Nope. The Paypal AVS check passes when the door number only matches.
