Default Bank Accounts

Hey All. First time posting.

Recently lost PayPal account and slapped with 180 day hold on £25,000.

Have set up everything to run multiple stealth accounts. Some of the guys in the forums have been great and full of knowledge, thank you.

The last step of setting up is getting the bank accounts for the multiple PayPal accounts.

I've got bad credit, have looked into it already but wanted to get an experienced idea of which banks are best and easiest to go to. Also are there any banks or services to steer clear of?

Any help is much appreciated.

A savings account will do, or even a basic bank account - so credit scores are irrelevant.

Lloyds, TSB, and Halifax would be one's I avoid simply as they can (under certain circumstances) make a fuss with mismatched names.

Others are fine, such as Barclays, Natwest, HSBC etc.

Im sure you bank with one of the others already, so if you already have a current account with them, opening a savings account will be super easy.

Yeah with most banks you can open multiple 'instant savers'/'access savers' etc. I have 2 bank accounts and within the 2 accounts I have 5 saving accounts which act as their own bank account with their own sort code/ unique account number so can be used for many stealths. Also they can be opened in seconds. Id recommend going that route instead of trying to open a bunch of bank accounts.

Also can I ask what made you keep that much money in a PayPal account anyways? 25K is a lot to keep sitting in a paypal. I definitely recommend withdrawing regularly to your bank. I don't let more than £500 sit in my PayPal unless I am going to use the money to buy stock.

Wow that is a lot to have stuck on a PayPal!

Any savings account or basic account would do

I would avoid Lloyds and to a degree Halifax as well.

Guys like Nationwide and HSBC are really good though

You also really need to make sure you don't leave that sort of money in a PayPal account again

Nationwide is good for mismatched names too.
