Paypal/Ebay automatic fee payment details removed

hi guys

ive posted this question already but it seems to have disappeared, so here it is again...

my EB account is in good standing, 100% feedback, 2 years running

a few days ago, i recvd a message from EB saying i cant list any more stuff now as my automatic payment details have been removed by PP

so i looked on my PP and yes, theyve removed my lloyds bank current accont details, saying i have to setup new details...i cant understand why theyve done it now and not 2 years ago...?

the only thing i can think of is that my address details on that lloyds account are my old address details, not the one wwhich ive registered now for my current EB and PP accounts

but i used the lloyds account cos i had read in the stealth guide that PP dont check address details for automatic payments....does this mean i have to open a new bank account now that has my real address on it, pls?

totally confused now...!!

Was the Lloyds account added as VCC or for withdrawing funds? If it was VCC then the address must match as for as I’m aware...

Why not change the automatic payment method? Just switch from paypal to credit card and get a reloadable vcc from which you can pay the fees.

i thought an EB account has to be linked to PP in order to pay the EB fees etc?

if i linked a VCC. EB wont like it, cos they prefer PP as the automatic payment method....coreect me if Im wrong somebody...?

I think you are wrong with that. In some countries (Germany, austria and others) paypal isn't even an accepted auto payment method. They will only allow CC as automatic payment method. So you should be safe.

If you are referring to auto payment of ebay fees via direct debit that cannot be used on a stealth account. Direct debits don't work with mismatching names on paypal and bank account and will be rejected. Always pay ebay fees from paypal balance to avoid this problem.
