Just a quick one for the UK guys, I'm currently on SKY unlimited BB however know that it takes much longer to drop and change your IP address though the router if you have FIBRE (known as a sticky IP address - can takes 5 minutes per account)

Does anyone use a quicker provider where you can still change your ip within around 20 seconds.

How about virgin media fibre BB? anyone using this and still changing IP easy?

It depends on the modem/router combination they give. Some work better than others.

Try perhaps switching it out for another.

For Sky, BT, Talktalk - these should be interchangeable.
For Virgin Media - last I had their service, the modem was technically hard wired to your service, so couldn't be changed.
