Starting out. Items to sell

Hi

I am new to stealth and have been pushed in this direction by being hit with my second VERO on my business account I have had for over 10 years. I'm looking to get about 5-10 stealth accounts as backup in case my main is taken down permanently.

I've read the guide quite a few times now and I have scoured the forums looking for tips and tricks, there is so much useful information on here. I am almost ready to take the plunge (I have a tesco gift card Visa, new bank account, O2 dongle on the way, spare laptop which has been formatted fresh and will only be connected to the dongle, willing relative's address etc)

I have one main question though. I have an abundance of stock mainly selling branded clothing items trainers as well as electronics, toys etc. The items I sell are generally in the ball park of £10-15 - my business model relies on volume - I sold upwards of 20 items a day on the legit account before my suspension.

My predicament is what I sell starting out given the stock I already have. Shall I do bundles of mens clothes i.e. having a clear out? Sell individual articles of clothing, the odd pair of trainers? I do have cheaper articles of clothing that are lower end and I have cheaper electronics i.e. bop it's, calculators, video games etc

Grateful for any advice from those more experienced members

do not sell branded stuff at the beginning.

you can sell new or secondhand, individual may be better, just build up about 10-20 feedback and 90 days and then speed up. Sell at loss or break-even price at the start and customers are thrilled and give good reviews. Cheaper things go more easily.

Nope.

Bad - DVDs, Electronics, Branded items, Expensive items, Luxury goods, etc.

Good - Unbranded items, packaging, boxes, tape, jiffy bags etc.... priced right will sell fast as everyone needs them. Will also build your sales history/reputation with ebay/paypal at same time.

Unbranded clothing will be fine.

Toys and games generally are ok. Stay away from video games and dvds.

As oompa says, wait until its 90 days from your first sale, and you have 25 feedback before adding in your main items.

Thanks everyone for your input, I'll have a scour around for some items around the home to get started.

Heck no. None of those.

Why? DVD &. Games can be boot-legged.

Branded clothing can have aggressive IP rights owners.
