So they're asking for photo ID (passport, etc). What happens if, like some people, you have none?

What happens then?

Either get creative or tell them you can't provide the ID and they will hold your balance for 180 days.

Out of 20 or so accounts i had one require ID 180 days. It only had 7 quid in so i didn't bother both the rest had upto 1k in and was released no problem.

If all they are asking for is ID and proof of address you have a good chance of saving the account. Photoshop it if needs. If they asking for invoices etc .. its probably gone.

They will usually let you withdraw it but sometimes they can be a pain in the arse about it.

Not true. That statement is completely contingent upon the level of risk of items you've been selling.

If the items in question pose no significant risk, it's easy to get past this.
