good morning this is the last questio before i list my first item

i have been reading about photos and how its better to use real photos and not downloads from wholesale companys. but they can track the place and the model of where the photo is from, if i was to take a photo and upload it into a paint doc would they still be able to see this in informations

or do you think the down load pictures will be ok many thanks

Always use real photos, avoid stock images, especially on new accounts. It infers your drop shipping, or don't have item to hand which causes implications for the account from the get go.

Then use something like "batchpurify" (google it) to remove exif data.

Then upload to eBay. Done :)

Quickest and easiest way to remove exif data (the info that can be found on images that includes things like location and time/date it was taken) is to take a screenshot of the image then upload the screenshot to eBay

You really should give batch purify a try. It's free too.

Lets say you have 10 images per listing, and 10 listings. That's 100 pictures you need to remove exif data on.

Batch purify will remove the exif data in a few seconds. The entire procedure from the moment you open the program to the moment your exif data is removed should take no longer than a minute.

Batch Purifier can remove EXIF data from hundreds of photos in seconds, and the .JPEG version is free.

At least 100x faster than taking screenshots of your images and re-saving.

Edit - I normally agree with your advice, John. But you really should explore your alternatives on this one.

I wasn't aware of batchpurifier until now only ones I've seen are online that take a while, if it works like these guys say then that's definitely your best option OP.

Remember we don't all know everything (despite a lot of people thinking they do) but at least I'll hold my hands up when I'm wrong lol
