I want to sell few items im not going to be a full time seller anymore and does uaccount still work for paypal stealth?

Yes they work and yes there are people successfully using them but personally I would only use them if I'd burnt through all the regular banks. PayPal know they are not regular bank accounts and they've been used and abused by many sellers so they may treat accounts that use them with more scrutiny. Similar to those accounts that use entropay.

If it's just a short term account to sell your remaining stock then go for it but if it's long term I'd look at alternatives.

ive been using mine for 5 or 6 months now its perfectly fine,

the amount of money you receive in the uaccount is the problem.
So withdraw small amounts.

Yes its fine and working.For short time its great. But dont open too many extra account in short time and close again. Dont transfer money to your other account too much as well.I had one but they close because i opened way too many extra account.

Good advice and been working for me for over a year, use stealth principles and take it slowly ;)

careful with this mob, currently suspended my account with 4.5k in an account and extremely hard to communicate with them.

Good advice from all.

I'm in the UK and got in on U at an early stage Personally, things were going well with these guys for a long time, however you will eventually become unstuck IF any of the following apply to you:

1. Too many extra accounts opened and receiving payments in different names.
2. Too many extra accounts opened and Paypal confirmed (£0.01 confirmation payment received) EVEN IF no withdrawals have been made from Paypal.
3. Too much money coming in full stop, even if it's just the main account receiving the money and no extra accounts have been created.

Yes U does work and the best advice is to use it on an adhoc basis and/or for smaller withdrawals as already mentioned above. U seem to have a problem with the accounts being used for business, or at least what they 'think' is business use. They'll freeze your accounts first and ask questions later...about a week later in both my cases before I knew what the hell was going on after I noticed all my account features were Disabled! Proceed with caution.

Yes, approx. £2k in two main accounts (one in my own name and the other in a family member's) and both have some extra accounts created and Paypal confirmed but not all have been used.

Strange that you're still frozen after 4 months....

yeh and provided them with ebay sales, and other incomings to other extra accounts, opened a complaint with ombudsman as now they just ignore me.

I did do around 15k in 2 months though and they wanted explanations etc....

will update on this if I ever get one myself.

they can see the name on the paypal accounts, and onviously dont like it.

UPDATE...

I received two emails from U (one for each account) telling me that my 'query has been updated' and to login to view the updates. Both accounts had almost identical update messages (I'll tell you minor difference below) and the end result was both accounts being given a 60-day notice of termination and to make arrangements to clear the balance. The decisions were based wholly on the fact that they deemed the accounts to be used "solely for business" which is against their t's and c's.

The minor difference in the update messages I referred to above was that the first line of one of the messages stated that the account was "now unrestricted", yet both are now fully operational until. the 60-day period expires. Of course I will not be using them though.

Last thing I should note is that I only responded to the request for information on ONE account, the other I just left to see what the outcome may be by not sending anything. Same end result. N.B. I'm not suggesting anyone else should do the same thing, I'm only sharing my own experience/actions for your information.
