Withdrawals 72 hours due to increased withdrawals?

As the title says I have been withdrawing twice a day for about a week. Usually 1k at a time. Everytime instant then went to withdraw a smaller amount (£500) and was hit with pending 72 hours?

Bit of information on the account. Legitimate account ran in my brothers name. 4 years old. I drop ship around 20k products on eBay. Average 250 sales a day.

The reason I'm a little worried is because of my old stealth account. About 6 months ago my old stealth account was performing just as well. The account got limited and I was asked for more information. I came clean to PayPal and told them I dropshipped. They hit me with a 25% rolling reserve for 2 months at a time.

Obviously couldn't continue, I would have had over 40k being held if not more over 2 months. Even if I held stock 25% would be completely ridiculous. Hate Pay Pal. I wish eBay would allow more payment options.

Any advice appreciated I have several ecommerce websites making good profit so will not be doing this for more than another year. Kind of funding new projects. Then it will be bye bye eBay and finally out of the grasps of Pay Pal.

I would say a preventive measure from PayPal.

They are making sure they stay safe. They do not give a rat’s A8se about your business.

Is there any chance they might apply rolling reserves to this account?

Please confirm the account is confirmed and verified.

If they do I am fully done with eBay and Pay Pal.

I really don't understand how these accounts with 100,000's don't get effected by this bull ****.

I have 0 negatives and over 7000 positive feedback. Totally ridiculous.

Yes it was verified back in 2013 and it's legit details. As stated above it's my brothers.

If I'm lucky enough to not get hit with the rolling reserve I will slow it down. Anyway eBay is on holiday mode until withdrawals clear. I'm not risking thousands being held by these ****ers

I would never tell them I was dropshipping.

Well had no choice they limited the account I had a lot of money in there. Wanted tracking numbers and invoices. Didn't have the time to ⊗⊗⊗⊗ them just wanted my money back. Which I did get within 24 hours of telling them I drop shipped

Anyway no offence to the replies but your not talking about my main concern which is the withdrawal times. Also if you wouldn't tell them you drop shipped please elaborate. To many people on this forum saying I wouldn't do this and I wouldn't do that with nothing to back it up or an explanation.

That, if I had to.

I get the worries.

I have had changes in withdrawal times for UK PayPal when the buyer has had issues.

I have had changes as above when PayPal flagged what seemed an ordinary transaction.

The account is truly legit and over 12 years old.

Only flag I wondered about was adding a new card. This was confirmed right away.

From November, withdrawals do increase with us. We just hold our breathe and hope. It does not take away from the strain of having to deal with these feckers.

Can only agree with that choice. We are in holiday mode as of 3rd December.

Wise indeed.

It's ridiculous that legitimate businesses are afraid their own money will be held. I just don't understand why Pay Pal would want their biggest money makers/clients to worry so much.

They're that big now they just don't give a ****.

Imagine going to the ATM and trying to withdraw £20 only to be told by the machine it's pending review come back in 3 days.

F*ck Pay Pal

12 months from now if things continue the way they are with my actual sites they will just be a bad memory thank God.

GREENBEAN I am now considering keeping eBay in holiday mode until after Christmas. I couldn't imagine the amount of orders being held up if they decided to hold funds over that period. Sales will be close to 500 a day. The money per day going into pay pal and the size of the withdrawals I would have to make per day would definitely trigger the holds.

Paypal can place holds based on the source of buyer payment - silly that it affects a longstanding good seller account though.
