eBay API linking

Hi!

Does eBay link by API? I am going to add listings using the eBay API. I was wondering can I do this using my old IP or should I use the IP I use to login to my stealth ebay acc?

By the way, when you spread your sales on a few accounts, do you change the design of the listings, do you use a totally different shop name?
