facebook ebay adverts...

was just in my "other" user account on desktop, listed a few items sorted some feedback and browsed a short while as you do... nothing out of the ordinary

i switch back to my standard "user" account and log into my facebook... low and behold theres the items ive just browsed on ebay using another user profile... coming up in my current facebook feed... asking me would i like another look???

how can this be... yes i know they all use tracking and cookies but that is supposed to be 2 different people looking at 2 different things... how can facebook see what ive just looked at useing another admin user account... :juggle:

dont get me wrong if its a 1 way traffic thing then fine... but its not right really... should be seperate what 2 user accounts are doing...

something sharing or connected... any ideas what guys cheers

Re: facebook ebay adverts...

no mate...

ebay user account is just for that... listing and the odd browse to research an item or just check stuff out, which is generally healthy to build some background... but imagine my horror when i switch user accounts and then on my fb page theres a side ad saying "inspired? take another look" and its the crap i was just looking at on another user account lol... fb seems to be tracking the computers useage ?

not sure if you can see link but would have thought you can...

ive done some research regarding fb tracking and it seems they have some high tech **** going on... looks like they could be tracking the computers useage never mind the "user" its all a bit complex for me to understand but they are doing it...
