Hi guys, sorry for a dumb question but is it possible to divert this service to a mobile? Also when I looked on the numbers available from this company for my town and after the area code it starts with the digits that normally numbers do not start with in my town, for example 01295 XXXXXX and first X is different than numbers in town. Isn't it a problem if you want to verify you location with PayPal?

yes it is a problem, I agree, to do verification with paypal it is best to have as close a location match as possible preferably first 6-8 digits, and as you say these companies arent always providing them..if you mess up phone verification letter will go to address so beware

I have found a good phone company called Aql(.com),they offer Geo numbers for £2.00 a month plus you have to add min £1.00 calling credit,i didnt understand at 1st why that when i called the landline number off my mobile it was allways engaged so i mailed their c.c and the nice people replied and credited me £2.00 as a gift lol...anyhow i have used it for both ebay/p.p and worked a treat..

Just checked this aql company and they have exactly the same data base with numbers as on soho66. Also found village near my town where first 6 digits matches numbers on them sites, will give it a try

you have to add credit to your account to get calls fowarded, you open as many accounts as you want and use the same credit, min credit is £2 and each call foward costs like 2p or something so you wont have to put more credit on

i dont seem to understand how soho666 works, i bought an external number, 0161 XXXXXXX

then its there in my numbers, but it says the number is offline. I have set it to forward to my mobile.

Please someone guide, do i have 2 download something

you have to buy credit to get calls fowarded to you, min is £2 and that will do for any amount of numbers you need

soon as you get credit leave it an hour then test by ringin your new number

(i have not tried it on mobile just landline but im sure it will work the same)

Hey guys, i just bought the soho phone number and planing to use for both my ebay and paypal verification. I bought it the number only for £2.35 including vat and then now i have to top up minimum £5 is that correct?? so the cost is around £7-£8 for one ebay and paypal verification?

Also, this is pay as you go....so please i need advise here, am i doing it correct? When i read the forum here, i thought the total cost for the phone and forwarding is £2 haha! i guess it wasnt clear :-)

I looked up soho, was after a london 0203 2XXX Number but all its 0203 numbers the start with 1xxxx anyone can give a little advice? does it matter if my current area is 0203 2xxxxx but I purchase a 0203 1xxxx number?

I was advised not to use 0203 on paypal but for ebay is ok. Soho has many different code areas...so u may wana checkout that or find someone close or work number...
