New address. But same personal details?
 

Some years ago I was permanently limited from paypal. Account was in my own name.
I currently have 2 paypal business accounts 5+ years old in my wifes name.
One was recently limted with £2100 in it in pending transactionsand then it was re-instated.

The security questions Paypal asked to unlimit the account were linked to me and my old address, ie, the permanently limited account details.

I have £3000 left of a 10k paypal working capital loan to repay on one of my wifes accounts.
Paypal reinstated her limted accoumt 2 days aho stating all sales must now go through the paypal accou t attached to the loan, to pay it off quicker.

Im assuming that they will permanently limit my wifes 2 accounts once this loan has been paid in full?

My next question is, I now have a new business address. Could I open a new paypal in my own name and personal details under the new address or will my personal details be linked to my old permanently limited account?

Old info can never be reused. paypal already told you they recognised your old limited account.

So if they knew my old details and I was linked to that account, why give me a 10k cash advance last year?

And why re instate the other account? There was £2100 in it which I will withdraw tomorrow.

And if Paypal use electoral role info in UK then my wifes accounts would be instandly linked to our old address?

Two different departments are involved. paypal credit works quite differently from other sections.

Can I ask what you have been doing to get limited? I have never had an issue with paypal ever, just ebay. Im curious

Just an update to this old post.
I reused my old details with new business address and opened a business account.

The account has been limited twice, and reopened twice as I was using it to push a lot of sales through.
8 month later and its still going strong. Currently on my 2nd working capital loan with it.
