Is eBay account toast if linked paypal gets permanently limited?
 

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me post Paypal and eBay spinoff, if a linked paypal account gets permanently limited and you get told you can no longer use PayPal, however the associated ebay account appear to be all fine, can you just create a new paypal account and carry on going?

Also, does anyone know if I was banned using my real details about 7 years ago, would I get anywhere with creating a new legit paypal account with all the correct details barring new address, or would they link back straight away?

Essentially that ebay is also useless. Any new paypal attached to it is an easy link to your banned account

Creating a new paypal after 7 years can work, but you would need a new address. Otherwise the name, address and dob will all be the same.

New telephone number, too i suppose. May as well give it a whirl, what have I got to lose! I'm done with relying on EB/PP for income, can't take the stress but salute those who can! Just want to be able to buy and sell the odd unwanted item now and then now. haha.

Quick one, anyone know if paypal ban you permanently, can you still check out on ebay using the pay with credit card section(that you don't need a PP account for), or will it stop you from doing that as well?

I have tried and it does work. Is not advised but as long home addresses / phone numbers not the same then it can work but keep in mind is risky. :mod:
