PP - how to add ID docs? + Debit card
 

I made a new PP account - a business ones.
Bank confirmed.

I try to go to the section where you upload ID details.
There's nothing there. No links for me to upload.
The link for 'Upload Limits' is still unticked.

What am I doing wrong?
(I opened another PP account recently and all was OK and I uploaded docs.)

Debit card: where to get from? I actually have a debit card linked with the account - should I use this?

Otherwise, where should I get a card from?

VCC - is this only an American thing? Can we get in UK?
I do know of one place to get disposable ones - but you need to pay £7 subscription a month.

AND IMPORTANTLY: does it matter if the card doesn't match the name holder of the eb and pp account?

I know that on usa paypals there is no option to upload id until your account is limited

You can't upload your ID until the account has taken £1650 and they request it.

Its a UK thing too. See the forum marketplace for UK VCC sellers. ;)

P.S. Of VCCs there are two types, AVS and non-AVS. So bear that in mind.

You've not been able to manually upload documents to PayPal for around 6 months now you need to wait for them to request them.

If you already have a card on the account there's no need to add another.

You will obviously need to tell PayPal the name on the card is that of the PayPal account holder but it doesn't not matter if that does not match the name on the card they cannot check.

i opened 3 accounts in the past and was able to upload docs straight away.
don't understand why it's not a consistent process?

can you give me details of both?
and where's the best place to get vcc from?
i've heard one name that has a general advice of 'don't use' in some threads.

Perhaps that's because the process has changed since you last opened an account.

The EU limit is no longer "visible" on the view limits page but it is still there. Once you pass £1650 on the account they will request the documents.

Either buy one in the marketplace or buy a Visa or MasterCard giftcard from the supermarket. Of the supermarket ones, as a general rule, the Visa ones are non-AVS and the MasterCard one has AVS enabled.

If you are referring to Entropay, then yes, best to avoid it.

accounts were opened recently just a few weeks ago and i uploaded all docs

AVS - just read up on google.
from what you say "the Visa ones are non-AVS" - i should go for Visa and not mastercard?

Either is fine. But AVS is better. So Mastercard in this case.
