Paypal account limited due to suspicious activity
 

Paypal have limited my account due to 'suspicious activity' (medium level threat), and they're asking for proof of address and photo ID for a stealth account.

Is it worth uploading said documents?

It depends on why you were limited...

Do you have have an idea why? And is that all they're asking for?

It's down to person who is going to review your id and as askpin mentioned reason of limitation

Worth uploading docs but only you OP would truly know if your account is considered risky and therefore appeal-failing...

Well my business account got limited after receiving 2.5k ... sent in docs as requested, got restored. But then got limited again the SAME evening after another customer paid for an expensive item. Called them again, they were not sure why it was limited this time so it was restored again.

Although phoning them can be a nervous process if you are STEALTHING you get better results by calling rather than sending an email. So just do as they ask.

I have no sympathy for sellers selling illegal counterfeit items who get banned. If you are running a legitimate business then Paypal are fine. Just don't get cocky on the phone, be polite.

I should add I genuinely can not wait for eBays very own payment processing system to be introduced. No more anxiety dealing with paypal worrying whether you will get banned today.

It will be released after 180 days. If you think you will fail you can call them now to say you do not wish to submit the documents & they will start the 180 days from then.

Don't be surprised if the changeover makes things more difficult in the future
