UK Dropshippers
 

Hey all!

Anyone else dropshipping on ebay UK notice both eBay and PayPal seem to be doing a lot more reviews /suspensions?

I have been dropshipping for years, but last couple of months even established accounts that were used to seeing £500-£1000 sales a day started running into problems. ID reviews, inventory proof requests.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed an increase in problems...or if its just me :P

Well paypal dont like drop shipping since it's more risky business

Are you having issues that may flag you up as a potential dropshipper? i.e. customers complaining late shipments?

If you have a smooth operation with happy customers at the end of it, you shouldn't encounter issues dropshipping. Doesn't mean their okay with it though, you just need to not tell them. :)

Well I don’t like drop shippers mainly because they lie about the location of their goods, I’m not saying everyone does but the majority of them do just to rank higher why not just be honest and offer good customer service which = good business. But I know theirs honest drop shippers out their so this is not against u guys anyway I thought I had to say this. God bless.

Some people I know do separate dropshipping into a selling account and a buying account - unlinked - looks better in PP's eyes

I know DS has a bad rep, but if it’s any consolation bad drop shippers don’t tend to last long!

All my accounts were Top Rated with great metrics. I know eBay have made substantial changes to the listing visibility of drop shippers, I am wondering if that’s also spread to them actually trying to cull some.

Always been honest with both eBay and pp about drop shipping, they certainly don’t mind so long as your offering a great customer experience. At least thats how it was :S


I do Amz to eBay drop shipping. So no issue there.

Yes my legitimate accounts have been reviewed three times now in the space of 24 months.

I am not a dropshipper but sell high value items.

I should add though that my accounts have always been restored after checks. I think it is something we all just have to get used too now.
