It's only works if your sale is lower then vat limit |

Re: EBay asked VAT number After you get that sorted, I strongly recommend you get more accounts under your belt and spread sales.
Let us know how it goes with getting the block lifted. Good luck. :thumb: |

| mmmbop | 06-24-2018 03:17 PM | Re: EBay asked VAT number Getting the block if your under the threshold lifted is simple, getting it off once your over the threshold is a little more complicated, but can be done quite simply once you know how. |

Just note - it will take time and effort before you get the accounts to the same standard you have your current one at. But its worth it, because if you hit a road block like this again, you wont be in a panic situation. You'll have other active accounts selling already. |

By simply calling them | Wrong.
You wont achieve anything calling them if you are over the threshold. |

Which is very easy to remove this ban simply calling |

To give you an example, when I was working out all the VAT workarounds, I launched an old account that has been a low level selling account, and added a huge amount of stock, which increaseed monthly turnover by 30%. Within two weeks, eBay requested VAT number, even though it had only made 40k over the previous twelve months.
Then I dealt with the VAT issue using my methods, and all was well.
eBay are treading very cautiously around the VAT issue, but they will overlook things if dealt with correctly. |
| just_smile | 06-27-2018 04:37 AM | Re: EBay asked VAT number You would hope ebay reps apply some common sense when you call them, if you are not going to exceed the limit then you won't need a vat number. The emails requesting them will be automatic, based on sales and projected sales. Once a human looks at it, they should remove the request (if common sense prevails) |

The real annoying fact is that if you get the wrong rep and they don't really understand (the Manilla lot dont get it AT ALL), they will put your account on a permanent block and getting that off without a VAT number is long and tiring and not always successful.
Try calling early morning , more likely to get an Irish rep, if you get one in a good mood, it will be sorted, if its a bad mood one, bad things can happen. |
| e2free | 06-27-2018 03:19 PM | Re: EBay asked VAT number If your turnover is under the VAT threshold does not matter which rep you speak with as long as you know how vat system works you can shut his mouth
Even if that rep don't help no way he can put permanent ban calling again will resolve issue |
Re: EBay asked VAT number If you're account does get limited, just call back and ask to speak to a manager. It should get resolved more swiftly. |
