Making UK Ebay business accounts
 

Anyone else having problems making new Ebay business accounts?

I get to the part where it asks about company information, then it says they are having technical difficulties . Had this for last four accounts I tried to make

Give it a few days an try again

Clear cache and cookies and try again, works for me. Clearing cookies can be a pain, but as you're only at the initial setup stages, you should experience any issues from it.

Yes, same problem happened with me then i contacted with ebay, even they didn't sort it out.Then i found one way to sort this myself. When they didnt allow me open business account then with same email i opened personal account. Then i change it to business account later.

Try a different browser. Start from scratch.

Anyone been able to make biz accounts from the go?, i'm still unable.

I've made around 60 since you first posted about this.

It isn't browser related, cookie related or anything else. You simply are not fully completing the form. ;)

Can confirm I made one last night just fine, although I did get this error at first.

I simply filled in the columns again but entered the address manually instead of it asking me to choose from the list via the postcode, so I would give that a try.

if not try a new browser as advised and should hopefully work.

Could be you are making accounts differently, of course i'm filling out all the fields. I make my accounts with a card

Also I entered the address manually, will try another browser but I have tried Firefox and Opera and both the same

Ok at last I have figured out the issue, it's the phone number I was using. When I hit the problem, I now go into the account settings, change the number then try again and it works.

I've had this happen a few times recently, it only happens when you use an o2 number in my experience. Ebays system doesn't seem to recognise it first time. It takes a few goes for it to work.

If you can't get it to work, then going in to your settings, deleting and re-entering the number fixes the issue.

Yes, I get ti the point where there's an error, then I go into account settings and change the phone number to something random, then continue and it works
