Apparently EU money laundering reg's.. so this will not apply from March 29, 2019 ?
What makes you think it wont apply then?

As you have received €1,800 (or currency equivalent), we encourage you to provide this information now. In doing so, you'll still be able to use your PayPal account to send or withdraw money as normal.
If you are getting that email you have to send in the docs before 180 days has passed

We are out of the crooked club then !
I got that email last year, did nothing but still selling on it this year.
My gf sells a few clothes on my account as she doesnt want any money appearing in her account..she has only ever bought with only a credit card registered with pp. If I add an unused bank account (of mine) number to her pp account I presume this could not be linked to me, even though I use the same IP address & may once or twice have accessed her ebay account on my pc. I take it is possible to have purchases paid with the card only even if there is a bank account registered also?

I had them last year but they stopped, I was only limited buying?? - I kept on selling in ignorance, presumably it was 'reset'. I dont want to lose this account (my first -legit, built up over many years) so I will try a stealth account to let this one cool if necessary, so I take note of date message first sent and keep track of my sales from then..bit of an inexact science.

i get this message also and ask me for more info what i can do please i dont need to get limitation ??? can any one help me

You just need to upload documents for the account

Very helpful. I think you should add how to withdraw from a UK account when not in the US.

The only way is to withdraw to a UK bank account.

Withdrawal from UK accounts are limited to UK and US bank accounts.

Some EU PayPal also support withdrawals to a card.

That's about it in terms of withdrawal.

You can withdraw to a UK or a US bank account only

Ebayorbust 09-03-2018 12:32 PM

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Whilst withdrawal to US banks is still possible, getting the account added in the first place can be problematic.

The likes of Payoneer and Revolut offer UK accounts to imternational customers which can be used on Paypal.

Add it like any other bank account, add the sort code and account number to PayPal.

You just add it in the same way as you would to a normal PayPal

Only takes 30 seconds

To the banks that work well section, you can add co-operative bank and barclays. I've used them for years with no issues.

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Thank you for your advice guys. So I do not need to follow Ebayorbust post? Sorry but I just want to be 100% sure because took long to age my PayPal so don't want to make any mistakes.

Best way to use savings accounts on Paypal:-

1. Add the account in the normal way. Submit the DD mandate so that the code is sent to the account.

2. Enter the code to verify the account.

3. Remove the saver. This automatically cancels the dd mandate and means the bank won't subsequently remove it.

4. Re-attach saver by clicking "Withdraw". Do NOT resubmit the DD mandate.

If adding a saver to an already verified account (for example a purchased one), then only do Step 4.

JamesNorth101 09-04-2018 12:24 PM

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

You can just add the savers

The DD will be cancelled a few days later automatically

You can then still use it to withdraw

No need IMO to add and remove and add again.

Re: The MEGA UK eBay & PayPal FAQ Thread

Do as James is saying above. The method you are reading I posted several years ago and it is no longer necessary to do that.
