21 day hold
 

Probably been asked a few times so apologies in advance..

I know if you had tracking to your ebay item it releases the funds a bit quicker, but my ebay is showing "funds now available" but the funds are still on hold in the paypal account, is this something to worry about?

That sounds like its on paypals side of the transaction. Sometimes one hand does not know (Or care) what the other is doing.

It may take a few more days and its usually a glitch.

You have 2 options,
wait it out
or
send paypal an email notifying them about the issue.

Only problem with option 2 is that is may cause a rep to look over the account and such.

I'd wait it out as per PayPal's schedule. It all comes down to when you added tracking info. May help if you add tracking to the PayPal transaction itself, I have a feeling the tracking details didn't pass over to PayPal when you added it to eBay.

Here's everything you need to know about these holds...

Few things that will help reduce your 21 day holds down to about 5 days:
* Shipping item out on time.
* Submitting valid tracking information to eBay and PayPal.
* The buyer leaving a positive feedback.

After approximately 3 months of doing this, your holds should be removed. However, just because holds are removed doesn't mean your in the clear.

You are still subject to one off holds on certain transactions, such as:
* Selling risky items.
* If you become dormant for a period of time.
* If your sales grow too quick.
* If you have a lot of disputes/cases filed against you.
* If a transaction is reported unauthorised.

The idea is simple - consistently keep everything in good shape, and you wont experience holds.
