I've been saying this forever, i've been doing this forever. Had like 20 paypal accounts limited and all at the same time, available for withdrawal. Why risk it all in one go and have paypal lock your account for good? Why so stubborn? I get that there might be cash flow problems with respect to time, but when they lock your money, that's gonna really suck.

They already limited my account permanently and I had to wait 180 days, so is it possible that they limit this again?

I assumed, that once they said after 180days that it is available for withdraw and the only thing I can do is the withdrawal, so I should be able to withdraw all money as there shouldn't be any reason to keep this on paypal.

in short, yes they can. i had one account that i totally forgot about when they released the funds, tried to withdraw, they wouldn't even let me add a bank account. They still have not let me add a bank account. Called, everything, nope, nothing. It was 500 bucks.

If they can ask for security check based on a large withdrawal, and you can't provide it, who's to say they can't limit it again? What I would do, since they're asking for security check, come back about 72 hrs or so, and then withdraw 5-10 dollars. Then the next day, 5-10, then 25, then 30, etc. Pretty soon, you can withdraw 100 bucks a day. Better than waiting 180 days again, or even worse, them holding on to your money forever.

I just love the way we accept the fact paypal can $h!t on us. I for one genuinely can not wait for ebays payment system to be implemented and for half of paypal users to move over.

Just call them they will process the withdraw for you

If they are only allowing 300 it is 300 a month... unfortunately... you need to add a VCC in most cases to withdraw more.

So actually I withdrawed 2 times smaller ammounts like 300, 400. Every time they requested quick security check where I had to provide VCC number. Once I provided it was processed with 24-72hr delay.

Today, I wanted to withdraw another 400 and there was again message "we can't process this at the momment", so I withdrawed 280 and again there was delay for 24h.

So I will keep trying to withdraw all amount in small parts like this.
