Hi Guys,

I will be Banned in Ebay and Paypal very soon :) Both Ebay and Paypal are Business. I have partner. We used my name on both accounts. If we make a new UK based business and put there his name is it OK? If they ask for verification is it enough to use his details? Or they will ask all owners and directors for ID? I think if we are good with his details there is no reason to stay under radar? Am I right?

I read the guide and this is last part I'm missing.

With PayPal, name on account needs to match ID. They won't ask ID for each director.

From my own experience they have not (only twice and the accounts were legit) . This is when the account is limited due to significant changes in sales, which they now call medium risk. The only things they requested, that were related to the business, was the business registration certificate and to fill in their online form describing the business.

If i'm not mistaken, I'm sure I read someone on eBay's site where they mention explicitly that they can ask for ID, and when they do, it will be for all directors of a business.

Usually the primary account holders ID does suffice, but they can ask for all the others if they wish to do so, presumably when the account undergoes a review.

Can I find out if my partner sent them ID already? I dont remember this :(, directors only? not also all owners?

I would presume directors only. Anyone else in a company would be an employee / secretary etc., so they wouldn't need to submit ID.

If you hold 25% or more share then they do ask for ID of each director
