eBay 2018 Seller Release Auto-Accepting Returns
 

eBay will start Auto-accepting return requests and provide labels to buyers with no intervention from sellers. For us stealther’s this cannot be good news as stealth account are not registered to our address’s therefore returns will be acceptepted automatically and returns labels provided and items will be returned to the registered Ebay address now my question is that do you think their will be a work around on this?

Firstly The Return Address can be different to the Registered Address.

Secondly, use the RMA option. That will give you breathing space to communicate with the buyer and provide your own return label.

Seems like they've been doing this on USA eBay for a few months already. Adding a valid return address is the solution. Like DK said, it doesn't have to be the registration address on the account. Lots of sellers use warehouses or fulfillment services.

Been this way for years in the USA. I dont handle any aspect of return except they still make me log in and manually refund the buyer but they tell me when I have to do it days after the return shows delivered. I wish they would automatically refund in my case but they dont. They want sellers to inspect the return first.

I have a PO box set up for every account that gets returns. I oftentimes can get multiple accounts to one box by editing the address and box slightly.

That being said, I dont thing the return address matters at all because many thousands of foreign sellers use Amazon for returns or the two big Chinese fulfillment warehouses in CA, NY and NJ.

wouldnt that link the accounts together? If you use same return address for each? Even if slightly altered I think they would catch on..

Normally it has to be exact. But at the same time I do agree with you and I try to ahve my return addresses different from each other.

I think what you mentioned and what I'm doing is the safest way to do things.

Best to send your own label with the address you what the return to go to
