portable browsers make this process easy, but you can manually look for your browser cookies and transfer them over to a new computer without issue.

I've found that keeping the same IP alone will not have the same "trusted" effect of maintaining those cookies

Yeah shouldn't be a big deal at all but if you want to be extra safe just transfer over the cookies to your new computer

I've never had issues and I never bother transferring cookies or anything. I do have access to the phone numbers though, incase of a security txt etc

Do a back-up first of everything. You don’t want to risk losing anything.

If your IP is the same and your pattern of use similar, then you should be OK.

Please confirm you also have a working phone number.

I have changed computers just like you said... I survived!!

:peace:

ETA... Just read your stealth details are at hand. Good work there.

When moving computers the only potential hiccup is being asked to confirm your phone number to make sure its you.

In extreme cases ebay/paypal may ask you to call in and go through security.

But in most cases it would be seamless to move to another computer if you still have the phone number active.

Going forward, portable browsers are a neat alternative. Each browser, and all the cookies sit inside one neat folder. You don't need to learn how to transfer cookies, or worry if you've done it correctly, you simply copy and paste the folder to your new computer.

SWORDFISH is now using a MAC, though.

Portable browsers can also work on Mac OS. You just need to find a compatible version. A quick Google search should sort that out.

Bootcamp is also a neat alternative should OP decide to go down that route and just run Windows OS on the Mac device.

Options are limitless. :juggle:
