Old banned PayPal
 

Morning all.

Quick question.

Just lodged into an old PayPal account out of boredom. This account was banned approx 5 years ago. Logged in this morning and was asked to confirm it’s me via email and then confirm my number. This was my actual genuine account. Passed trough absolutely fine? Expected to see the “there’s a problem with your account” red number 1 message tip right.

Question! 1) how can I test of this is working? 2) I am getting giddy for no reason and I’ve been given false sense of hope.

What do we reckon?

Define functional.

I’m able to access all parts of it without error messages or anything. I’ve not tried adding funds etc. Is there an easy test to see if it works?

Go to the resolution centre and see if its clear of any messages.

Sometimes it does not show up from the homepage theres an issue.

Try using it to pay for something

Ask a friend a few days later to send you some money on PayPal as G&S then try to withdraw it

See what happens :)

Checked resolution centre. Oh, it’s banned still alright!

Shame! But its always worth checking old accounts now and then to make sure none the less :)
