Multi variation bulk editing glitch.

As title suggests. Been going on for 2 months at least now.
Can not update quantity. eBay says I have to edit my 500 multi variation listings manually one by one. Anyone had the problem? any work around it?

Errors given

The EAN field is missing. (498)
The Buy It Now price must be greater than or equal to GBP 0.99. (498)
Price is not valid. (498)
Duplicate variation specifics (498)
Missing name in name-value list. (498)

Same here when I have those going - can't really edit in bulk from what I understand

I don't think US eBay is affected by this issue

You could still try switching the listing tool that you're using to edit. My comment and suggestion didn't apply to any particular country's eBay site. Most of my multi variation listings are on Canada eBay which isn't much different than UK. It's been a while since I sold on UK eBay but it's nearly identical to Canada eBay.

EDIT: There's a very slim chance anyone else here is having the same problem as you on the same platform. Forgive my suggestion.

I am editing them manually, ebay have been aware of the issue for a couple of months at least. They gave me my shop fees back. But on your Canada ebay you can change quantity for all.

Select listings > edit fields > Price,quantity, Best Offer > quantity change to.

yes. I am having to adjust quantity manually or i get the same errors, its a complete nightmare.

When i change quantity, it tries to add a new set of variations, along with all the errors listed above.

Call 'em up.

They could very well be phasing multi variation listings out now that they're setting up their "catalog".
