Adding a 2nd bank account to Paypal. Is it possible?
 

Hi all,

is it possible to attach a 2nd bank account to an old (long selling history) Paypal acc? It keeps saying "not possible to do this right now" or something along those lines.. The new account is with Natwest..

Ive never had issues adding a second bank account to any paypal of mine.
Those were US based accounts but don't see any reason it would be different with a UK account.

Its fine to do but with some bank accounts you need to ring PayPal to do it over the phone

You can add as many bank accounts as you like, and as many credit or debit cards. the more you add, the more they love it because it gives them more info on you and more places to charge you back if they want.

The plan was to use it for invoicing/sending commercial payment requests to my other Paypal accounts. Of course I would lose 3.4% on each transaction, but I have my reasons for doing this..

Normally it should work I don't see any reason why you can't do it, I have done this more than once, but not for a UK account.
As James said, you may need to call them in order to add it.

Update: it worked, however not on the same, but another Paypal account..

Same bank account? , if so i'd tread carefully.

Even though you tried to add that account number to another account, and it didn't go through, PayPal reps can see you made that attempt, and what those account details are.

I dont know if this constitutes as linked accounts, but I would be careful, and avoid ever doing something like this again.
