HELP paypal holding funds.NEW ID CHECKS BY PAYPAL USING Thomson Reuters World-Check‎
 

Hi. I am having major issues with paypal . I was wondering if you could help, Its causing me severe stress.
I have 5 or 6 paypal stealth accounts which are limited and past the 180 days limit.I send docs. I have not had a problem withdrawingfunds in the past and didn't mind waiting 180 days, but I have tried to release funds ona few accounts and paypal are rejecting the ID...on one particular call one of theadvisers said the id has failed a 'world-check' scan. have you any experience of this?and is there anyway I can release these fund. Also for one account I send driving licensce and this was rejected and then I sent a passport and this was also rejected. I am very stressed out. please help

Very interesting I wonder how exactly they check if the document is a phake

Looking at the world check website...Im guessing they are running the driving license numbers or passport numbers through some sort of system to see if they are genuine.

I currently have 3 accounts with considerable amounts in them and im stuck
as to how to get the money released even after 180 days

Emm, not quite sure they can do that its private information. For example if you apply for a driving job with a large courier company they need your authorization to check your drivers license details they can either get this by you supplying them a temporary pin from DVLA or over the phone but you have to speak to DVLA first and give permission and then hand over the phone to who ever wants to check or confirm your details.

As to passport I don’t believe this can also be verified due to privacy laws in the UK.

It’s definitely worrying though it’s not a good thing for us stealthers and there is a huge possibility stealth accounts in the UK will become difficult to run.

The only positive I can see is when eBay introduce there own payment system which is backed by Ayden but I have no idea when this will come about, I know there currently beta testing this in the USA.

They definitely can't do that, why? Because if PayPal was compromised, all of it would be leaked and it'd be a mess wouldn't it?

Did you remove EU limits before on these accounts you have problem with?

No I used to just pile the paypal account with money....and wasnt bothered about the eu limitation etc....and used to send ID in after 180 days and the account used to stay limited but i used to be able to withraw


but its all changed now,,,,,and its partly my fault for just letting the money pile up
