Most the forum sellers can help

Just PM them directly and see what is on offer

Forum sellers is one option.

If not, then most visa/mastercard gift cards from supermarkets also work fine.

I wouldn't even bother updating the card on paypal. If a cards expired its already an established account. No need to add another in my experience.

Most from shops work fine.

Online - avoid entropay etc.

I agree. Although if you make payments with the account, payments may start going out as e cheques without an active card on file, which is often a PITA (if there is not a sufficient balance on paypal).

A card on file usually lets you make instant payments.

But then again, you shouldn't be moving funds from your bank account to PayPal anyway.

I'm organised so have always used the paypal balance for any payments.

I always disable the bank account as a payment method to stop exactly that happen.
