Have you noticed when you check your promoted items on ur accnt
 

When you check your promoted items on your account it will show up in the top 25 ..But when you check those same items on another stealth account there no way near top 25

Seems like ebay is swizzling us again ,where paying for items to be moved up the list.. But there no way near up the list that ebay shows you

No same region but different stealth accounts

why should should your place on the page be different in different regions ?

So if i look at item A on my account it shows its in the top 25 lets say 22..But if i look at item A on say a friends ebay it will show its number 29

Account location matters because one of the things they factor into search results is which item is likely to reach you fastest..

That is curious. Ebay says item location can affect a buyer's search results because of delivery times but that's not the case. Have you tried repeating the searches on each account a few hours apart? Could have something to do with how often the search results re-indexes itself.

Yeah it does change a bit on the hour it may move 2 or 3 places But i defo see it effect my sales ,,even if i move 1 place out the top 25 my sales go down And we all know everybody is buying on ebay from there phones

Its because on mobile devises it only shows the top 25 on the first page If i move into there it goes up by 30%

But when i do a search on my original page its shows it at number 15 but its lies its not really there do you get me

In UK every where is accessible in 24 hours I can send a parcel at 8pm today in London and it will be in Scotland in the morning so i dont see that a factor

That's whacky.. why would Ebay be resorting search for different buyers? I get maybe they're divvying out traffic to let other sellers make a sale, but not if your promotion bid is higher than the competition. That's technically fraud lol. Plus Ebay loses money off the promotion giving the sale to a lower bidder...

Does it ever switch? i.e. the search results for the account not selling the item shows it higher than the search for the selling account?

Its different for each account

You can search the same item from 10 different stealth accounts and you will get 10 different best match listings (although there maybe some cross over)

What I also noticed that when your listing is removed, even for once, your rank on search result is being decreased.

That does look like the case i think...But it always looks better on the original account for some reason

I'm curious if different servers are responsible for different search results. Have had two buyers now say a listing was out of stock while others were buying from it.

Most likely a glitch on eBay's side. Not uncommon.
