PayPal Passport Question

I am currently running multiple accounts as my own PayPal was closed a number of years ago.

Recently I have opened a business PayPal with different address and everything except I have used a nickname for my first name. If I do end up getting limited I have different documents to supply such as my passport which will not have my linked address on it like my drivers license would but I was wondering is can PayPal check my passport number against a database

PayPal do not have access to government databases. They can only run checks against the document to spot a fraudulent one.

As long as everything on the identity document matches the account and the document itself has been produced to a good enough standard to pass their checks then there should not be a problem.

They just check the MRZ on the passport
