eBay Accounts Getting Shut Down

I create new accounts regularly and about 8 months ago I decided to create a virtual machine with Windows 7 and everything preloaded and set, including the Firefox Portable, Ccleaner, image cleaner etc and I update/renew the Windows 7 and all software every month to ensure everything is up to date.

I make sure I use a dongle and disconnect/reconnect every time I use or create a new account.

I then clone the main Virtual machine every time I make a new account, but lately (last couple months, mainly this month), almost every account has been hit with a suspension after the first sale (sale are all low value, none branded items), I open up live chat and then they need proof of ID.

Is it because of the time of year or am I doing something wrong?

Could be your method, hard for us to advise since we don't know your exact creation method. The again at this time of year there are often many suspensions

Its more common this time of the year, the asking for Id is new. I've had it happen on one account recently. 99% are having no issues, so I'd suggest its your setup (or the items you are listing)

Re: eBay Accounts Getting Shut Down

Thanks for getting back to me.

I follow the guide, I create a new eBay and PayPal account using a new name, date of birth, address (not one I have access to, for example, I create a new address like this, 15B address, town, postcode, all valid, other than the 15B as I add the B) etc, I attach and verify a valid VCC to PayPal link both accounts then wait for a couple weeks and list a low value item normally less than £50 which is also not branded - I don't always attach a bank account straight away.

I make sure I use a new IP address using a dongle for each account, everything else has already been set up with the virtual machine and then cloned for every new account created.

I never normally used to get ID requests from eBay and it is something new, I understand that it is probably due to this time of yeat, but just interested to know if there is anything else I can change to stop this?

Re: eBay Accounts Getting Shut Down

I got a message from an agent on one of the accounts stating that there has been a lot of registration on the network and wanted to check that it is not a randomly generated account.

I don't understand as I use a three dongle that is always changed between accounts and this changes the IP address.
