Avoiding eBay asking for invoices
I was just looking at a way to avoid this as my accounts get blocked quickly.
I thought about using my own pictures and only selling one at a time rather than say for example I have 10 of a particular item.
Any other suggestions? |

That's one way.
The stronger the account the less likely you to be asked for invoices. So building an account is a good option. |

What sort of items are you listing? Invoices requests from eBay are not that common |

I understand why because of counterfeit items but every time I send invoices they shut my account down |

The first few items you sell, avoid electronics.
Postage and packaging items are a good way to get your account rolling. You'll sell them as they are always in demand, and very low risk items too.
As you mentioned, I too would avoid listing more than 1 QTY per listing early on. |

Electronics is not a good idea on a new account. If its not ebay then PayPal will be asking you for invoices. Its a very high risk category.
Do as Play has suggested. It's a good way to start. |

Keep selling other things for about 3-4 months at least |

| Often times I do it right away, but I'm competent enough to know what is high risk, and what's not. So it's hard to put a time frame on it. The idea is to avoid anything that is branded/high risk when you first sell electronics. |

None of these suggestions work, I took my account real slow $246 in 5 months, non vero items, then they limited me, asked for ID, Invoices and tracking. The silly think was they asked for tracking on the last two items I sold and of course they hadn't been shipped as when I sold them buying postage was declined, So how are you suppose to give them tracking when they won't let you pay for postage. 7 accts in a row permanently limited over last 18 months. Two sent in legit documents (IDS), 4 sent in creative documents (IDS) but nada, zilch, nil, nothing. Luckily I have 4 still going. |

@Kajunrook - You have got to be doing something wrong.
I've got several accounts that are as old as I am a member on this forum. Out of all the accounts i've ever sold on, only one had invoice requests.
Something in your case is flagging you up. You need to go back to the drawing board and figure out what you're doing wrong. |

| US and U.K. accounts work quite differently in certain ways
For a U.K. account these suggestions work really well
In your case I would just stop selling whatever it is your selling and find something new |
