Will this new bank account name ruling next year effect things ?

See link. Seems that name checks are going to be needed next year before paying in to bank accounts. Anyone know if this will effect people with a different PayPal account name to their bank ? Even on ones that are currently okay with it ?

I dont see what it has to do with stealth unless paypal comes with new policy

If they used a similar name to the account holder, they will be provided with the actual name to check. They can then update the details and try again, or contact the intended recipient to check the details. But if the customer enters the wrong name for the account holder, they will be told the details do not match and advised to contact the person or organisation they are trying to pay.

Seems like it is bank to bank. The point is the name is checkable.

PayPal has business bank. They’d be paying into accounts on a regular basis automatically.

It shouldn’t really affect stealth.
