Entropay looks like it's closing - any alternative?

I've been using Entropay for years. A few weeks ago they had a message on the home screen reading they're not accepting new registrations. Today I've logged in to see the sad message on the home screen:

Quote:

New Account Restrictions
Entropay is imposing new account restrictions. This means, over the coming months, your Entropay account functionality will be gradually restricted.

We are no longer accepting registrations and existing users are not be able to top up their accounts from credit or debit cards, or bank transfers.

I used Entropay for both verification of PayPal and paying fees.

Is there any alternative available?

For UK sellers that is! :uk:

Vanilla Mastercard gift cards work well from your local supermarket. They have a £25 or £50 balance on them to start with. They are AVS unlike Entropay, so will need registering at your 'stealth' address.
Follow the instructions on the packet, its really easy to set up.

Then just pay your fees with your Paypal balance like most people do.

Thanks! That is one option however the fees are huge - almost 10% on a £50 top up, and also the AVS will be a hassle when paying large amounts... But if that's the only option, I guess it will have to do.

If anyone has any other alternatives, please post!

Well, the card costs £2.95. That's one of the cheapest.

Any other online vcc will cost you that and more per card.

They work great for setting up accounts.

If you Google it with proper keywords they will pop up in front of you...Simple .... I believe Entropay was the cheapest in the market and you will not find Entropay part 2 nowadays.....
