got a lucky stroke with an old paypal
 

I got banned from pp and set up another account which got instantly banned, i needed to set up bank transfer for my ebay, you need to still have a paypal as well though, i just used an email address of mine that i had, low and behold i recieved a payment from my ebay of a purchase, it turns out that i had used this email for a really old pp account at an old address (my ex wifes). The account has not been banned yet, im a bit worried about somehow linking this pp account to the ones that got banned, what should i do to avoid this ?, i need to set up a bank account with it and possibly use a different number, the number thats registered with it was an old voip number that isnt used anymore..any advice on what steps i should take to keep this account safe ?

Let me help you...

Banned from PayPal at address 1, all attempts to get another one fail with another ban, decided to take bank transfers on my eBay but am still required to give a PayPal address, used an old email of mine that turns out to be a PayPal account at another address, address 2.

So how do I stop PayPal account at address 2 going the same way as PayPal accounts at address 1.

So far I have opened a second bank account at address 2 and have got a new Giffgaff sim.

If it has the same details as the banned account, it may be suspended in time even if the address is different.

How? I'd suggest you don't use it. You may have tainted the IP or logged in from the same computer account as the banned account. Even if that isn't the case; an aged, stale account would still have to sell slowly to build trust with PayPal and stay under the radar until such times the account reaches 'maturity'. But why put all that effort into an account that may be on death row?
It would be best to start with a new eBay / PayPal, computer user account, email, contact number and IP address and 47 other things you may need to know...
Start with the stealth guide and consider having redundant accounts for times like these.



Good to have another bank account on the ready.
You can open a savings account under your previous bank and use that instead.
PayPal cannot see the address on your bank.

I'd start from scratch, use completely new details for everything, and never recycle any previously used information.

That is the only way you can rest assure you're safe.

I guess then, I should wait untill I can retrieve my money from the limited one as at some point I am going to have to connect with it
