am i ok if i opened a email from photobucket which linked to my suspened ebay account
 

i am new here, but i've been keeping my eyes for a while on this forum, to be honest, this is the best ebay forum in the world. i've learnt a lot from this site.
i made a mistake yesterday. photobucket sent me a email , i opened and then closed and deleted the email immdiately, because i realized this photobucket account linked to my old suspended account( within 2 seconds, i didn't read it just clicked the email ,then closed it before it got fully opened).
i was told photobucket was took over by ebay, so i am getting a little bit worry about my new ebay account. can ebay trace cookie via photobucket ?
or am i ok because i didn't fully open the email?
can anybody have ideals?

By opening the email it shouldn't cause you any harm.

I haven't heard that photobucket was taken over from eBay.. where you did you hear that?

yes, i do think photobucket was took over by ebay. ebay uk showed that uk ebayer can upload files by photobucket, this happened about 1 month ago.
i realized this because i made a steath account but loaded picture from photobucket, that account was limited 1 day later( i've done everything what i can, new ip, diffrent description, delete cookis).
also i thought( i am not quiet sure), ebay and amzon using diffrent way to trace. it seems like amzon using MAC code. I TRIED THAT BEFORE. i using usb broadband, that's not a problem, then connected to normal one( my broad band change ip everytime you using), amazzon limited my account few hours later.( refered that my account linked to the one limited)
hope this can remind some ebay and amazon user.

Photobucket does give ebay tutorials. I cant see anything in writing that they are owned or partners though, something to look in to just in case there is a link..

Ive used pb before and not had a problem but i wont use them again, other good ones that you dont need an account for are tinypic, imagehosting.gr, imageshack

^^^pb joined with ebay last year for image editing etc. I double checked Fox Interactive Media's site. They appear to have laid off staff but nothing about selling the company. Only been owned by FIM for two years.

so, we better not use same pb account with multi ebay account right?

I have looked everywhere I can think of for that news and as far as I can tell it is still owned by the same group that own my space.

And the information sharing, as far as I can tell is the same as what has happened with a lot of these social network things, and they have to give you the right to opt out, unless you are ebay and then you just say like it or lump it.
But unsure what will happen with the flash cookies, as it does seem to be discussing the sign in to one and you sign in to all, which would be done with flash cookies.
Easy way to fix that is to open up photobucket, twitter, my space and a lot of other sites in another browser, as any website can join that club.

Anyone know if Fox is still owned by Media Corp? as dodging their sites would be a nightmare.
