Some ideas needed

Hello guys, here is the story:
I've messed up two PayPal phone verification in a row, phonebox and redirecting service, methods that worked for me before. One account is important to me and I'd like to keep it since bank account is given to them. The address that letter went to is just around the corner from my work and the house looks well old and not looked after, I think old couple lives there. I'm seriously thinking to go there and say something like:
"I've bought something online/phone and something gone wrong and it looks like this will be delivered to your address instead of my work, may be you were their costumer in the past".
Then couple of days later to visit them again and say that the item was actually delivered to my work but reciept/waranty may still come to theirs and that would be my PayPal letter.
The other problem is that the address letter went to is residential and my work around the corner is industrial estate.
Guys your opinions needed, is it ok to do this or should I say something different. i really don't want to mess up this bank account.
Thanks

that could work. tbh, I have 'spun' that tale B4.Should be fine & just be nice to them.

BUT BUT BUT next time make sure you have access to the stealth address. That is most important in the whole planning.:peace:

I started off my stealth PP accounts by adding a VCC. I then added the bank account. Once the account is verifed I am going to "link" the vcc to the account to confirm address (this can only be done when the account is bank verified).

By doing the above, am I right in believing that phone verification will not then be required as the account is fully verified with a confirmed address?

I have a feeling that the "confirm your information" part of Paypal tries to match up the account name to the address using electoral register info etc. When this fails (due to being a stealth account), the phone verification tries to link the phone number to the given address (in addition to entering the code successfully). This again will fail, hence the letter gets sent out.

I do have access to my stealth addresses in any event but can anyone confirm the above to be correct?

Regards.

Hi, I have stealth accounts with online purchased phone numbers with matching area code for the address I have made up (of which I have no access).

I always have to do the phone/post verification option - and so far the phone verfication has never failed even though the number would not match the actual address.

Regards, CaptainJack

Do you have to do phone verification to verify and confirm a Paypal account?

I have added a VCC.
Have added bank account and am waiting for deposits to verify the account.
I am then going to "link" the vcc to confirm address.

Will the above steps fully lift all Paypal limits or will I still have to do the phone verification as part of the "confirm your information"?

I have a relevant geographic number (used to set up Ebay seller account) and have access to the address if the need arises.

Regards.

You do not have to confirm phone number but more than likely they will call at some point. If you don't answer that call, expect a limitation.

To beat ebay/paypal, it is always better to have an active phone number. Poor business to operate the accounts without one. Have mentioned B4 I keep phones active: it's a usueful tool to deal with ebay/paypal. You know that day paypal phoned you was the day the phone was o.o.o., gee, I am sorry I missed your call  ;)
