Restoring old account
 

Hello.

Since my PayPal account got limited, I'm going to use a family members PayPal account that is not linked to mine and that was abandoned for a number of years. However after logging in, it turns out that the account is temporarily limited for a numbers of years now, as the original holder of the account only used it for a short period and then abandoned it

PayPal has requested a number of things such as ID, CC statement and "Original bills of sale or invoices referencing your purchase"

Now the issue is that particular credit card has expired ages ago and the PayPal was used to receive payments for photo retouching and a couple other digital services.

What are the chances of recovering the account? How should I proceed in this case?
The account holder confirmed with me they can send in the id and proof of adress, however the CC statement is impossible to get at this point.

I would call up and explain, as its years ago they shouldn't be too worried about anything in particular, assuming the sales went smoothly (no chargebacks etc)

Some people will tell you to fudge the stuff you can't provide, but in this case I don't think its necessary.
