Below standard

On one of my accounts due to me having to cancel a lot of orders - due to Argos - I went from above average to below standard . My defect rate is quite high due to this . I just wanted to know what effect will this have on my account?
My listings are still ranked firsts and at the top .
What does being below standard do to an account?

Depends how attached you are to the eBay

You can build that one back up again, or jjst strt again. Both work

If it goes below standard i'm sure there's a 4% additional final value fee's to anything that you sell, i'm not 100% sure though i have never fell below standard to find out

I’m trying to get them removed now . Hopefully I can . I’m not paying an extra 4%

You dont get the discount, but I dont think they charge you extra. I could be wrong though.... Not had an account bellow standard for a long time.

Why not just buy the items from somewhere else? Some people are so short sighted, only thinking about right this second £££.

Argos are hardly the cheapest around i'm sure you could have sourced the items elsewhere and not disappointed buyers and ruined an account.

your selling standard is at this time above standard ?
your next evalution is weeks away? and i'm guessing it says "if we evaluated you today your seller level would be below standard"?
if so then it wouldn't have taken much to knock you below so it won't take many sales to put you back above, selling a couple of 99p items on bin will sort that or auction a few items from poundland, you will still get at least 99p for them

I got it sorted I got eBay reps to get rid of the defects .
