Paypal stealth id and companies house
 

Need some advice guys. I have a paypal stealth account. Been using it for past 5 years. With the business growing I added my ltd company details into paypal to upgrade to paypal business.

Now my stealth id has expired and they are asking for an updated form of id.

My question is will paypal check the name on the ID given to them and match it to my real name in companies house?

The information should most definitely match. If you want to be proactive, then you can explain that the address on id doesn't match your physical business address and provide them multiple other documents that do match.

Thanks, today I checked the requirements, it is asking for my personal ID (the account holder) but then there is a business section where it says you can add company directors. I am thinking to add my original details here?

It also gives me an option of an authorisation letter to act on behalf of the ltd company. So I can sell on my stealth paypal with permission from the ltd company.

Shall I just send an authorisation letter from real details to say my stealth id account?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
